English - Stone Age Invasion?

Last week, we had an unexpected arrival in class!

We returned from break time to find some suspicious clothing and objects in the middle of our classroom!  We spent a while thinking and talking about where it might have come from.  As a class, we worked out that as our topic this half-term is the Stone Age, and in English we are reading the Stone Age boy - one of the characters must have come out of the book and left some clues to get us thinking about what life must have been like during the Stone Age.  We then started to read our class text and then used drama to work out how the characters must have felt at different times in the story.

History - When did the Stone Age take place?

Welcome back!  Welcome to Year 3!

We've had a very exciting first few days back...All children have responded positively and purposefully to the beginning of their next stage into Key Stage 2.  We've had a busy day getting to know each other and learning new routines and expectations.

Hold tight and we will be posting regular updates about what we get up to in class!
