Message to parents/carers regarding home learning packs
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Thank you to those who have ordered and collected a printed version of the weekly home-learning pack. This is something which school are happy to offer, if it will have a greater impact on the learning of our children at home. However, there have been many packs which have been ordered and printed, but then not collected by some parents, which is not only a waste of resources and time taken by staff to organise them, but also a great financial cost to the school.
Therefore, we have put a system in place to mitigate this issue. From Monday 29th June, if you wish to have a home-learning pack in paper form, and are unable to print this yourself at home, you must contact school every Monday to order your pack. This will give school a good idea of home many packs are going to need to be printed and organised. Your pack will then be ready to collect from school the next day (every Tuesday) between 10am – 2pm. However, so that school are not wasting resources, money and staff time, we will only be preparing a small number of packs in advance, so some parents may need to allow a little extra time for your pack to be printed when you arrive at school on Tuesday.
As I’m sure you can understand, staff in school are extremely busy, and having a clear organised structure in place will allow us to best manage the time around the children. Therefore we will only be accepting orders on Mondays, and if you do not order a pack in advance, then you will not be able to collect one. Any parents who arrive on Tuesdays to collect a pack, without first pre-ordering one, will not be given one.
Thank you for your continuous support at this difficult time.

we hope that you are all well. As next week will be the Easter Holiday we will not be posting any home learning tasks this week. You could check out the GIFT Team page for a Holy Week reflection that you could share as a family. We hope that you enjoy the Easter Break as much as you can!
Thank you for your valued support.

The Year 2 team are hoping that you are all staying safe during this difficult time. We miss each and every one of you! Next week's learning tasks have now been uploaded. Please take the time to complete the tasks where possible. This week we have chosen writing tasks which fit with our text, 'The Last Wolf' by Mini Grey.
We hope that the children have been trying their best to complete the home learning tasks. Please check out the GIFT Team page for the Chaplain's Word of the Week and prayers you could share with your families.
Stay safe! We are in this together!
