Monday 30th November 2020
As part of our Advent preparations, and to keep the true meaning of Christmas alive in our hearts and minds, Class 11 would like to raise some money for a local homeless charity during this half term. After discussions with the children, we have decided to create a Christmas scene in a jar. All you and your child(ren) have to do is collect a jar – and either collect/decorate the jar with objects to show a Christmas scene. They can bring them in at any point the week beginning Monday 14th Dec.
This will take place on Friday 18th December 2020 –it will be £1.00 to enter, with a prize for the most creative scene! All of the money raised, will then be donated.
Thank you for your continued support.

Our quality text to focus on this half term will be "The Time Travelling Cat and the Egyptian Goddess,." by Julia Jarman.
Linked to this; for our topic we have started investigating the Ancient Egyptians. We will be looking back at the way that they lived, their royal pharaohs, great pyramids and scenic landscape.
