1 Mile Challenge

Edstart, who have worked in our school throughout the year, have sent us a challenge to see how many times you can complete a mile in a fortnight. It is up to you how you complete it. If you are up to the challenge, then please see attached posters on how to complete the challenge and how to let Edstart know how many times you have completed a mile and what your quickest time was. Good luck!

VE DAY 75! FRIDAY 8TH MAY 2020.

Friday 8th May-pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the entire Second World War generation, from British, Commonwealth and Allied Forces to evacuees and those who served on the home front. As we face some of the most challenging times since the end of the Second World War, now more than ever it is important to unite in recognition of service to the nation, just as communities did 75 years ago.

Follow the British Legion link and it will give you suggestions on how to mark this special day. There are various live broadcasts throughout the day that you can join in with- take pictures of your celebrations and post them on your class Facebook page- we'd love to see how you are commemorating this important day.
