Sadly, we cannot perform our nativities for you at school this year due to the pandemic. However, each class in EYFS and KS1 are going to perform a part of the nativity in the (well-ventilated) hall. This will be recorded during a school day towards the end of term and shared on our school website on Thursday 17th December for you to watch and enjoy.
Class 4 will record their nativity on Monday 14th December.
Please can your child wear a white top, school trousers/skirt and school shoes.
Thank you for your continuous support,
Mrs Sutcliffe, Mrs Hastewell and Mrs Slack

As part of our Advent preparations, and to keep the true meaning of Christmas alive in our hearts and minds, Year 1 would like to raise some money for a local homeless charity during this half term.
We have decided to do this by having a ‘Pyjama Day’. Our Pyjama Day will be on Thursday 17th December and on this day the children may come to school wearing their pyjamas. We will also be having a special story time whilst the children enjoy a snack of milk and cookies.
Please be mindful of the winter weather and the fact that we keep our classroom windows open throughout the day to increase ventilation, therefore we ask that children wear long pyjamas, a jumper (or dressing gown), appropriate footwear (not slippers) and that they bring a coat to school. Please can we also ask that the children do not wear onesies and wear two piece pyjamas.
This is a fundraising event and so we would like the children each to bring in a donation of £1 in return for wearing their pyjamas and having a special story and snack time. Again, all of the money raised will go towards our chosen charity.
Many thanks and we appreciate your continued support,
The Year 1 team
Welcome to Class 4's page.
Our teachers are Mrs Sutcliffe and Mrs Hastewell. Mrs Sutcliffe will be in school every Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Mrs Hastewell will be in school every Wednesday and Thursday.

Due to the current restrictions we will only be changing the children's reading books twice a week. This is so that all books can be properly cleaned before being sent home with another child. We will therefore only be changing books on Mondays and Thursdays, but will be sending two books home at a time. Please only send your child's reading folder into school on a Monday and Thursday. For more information about reading at home please read our Year 1 Autumn 1 newsletter.
