Tonight we read Alan's Big Scary Teeth by Jarvis. The children made some rather good predictions and found it hilarious that his teeth were in fact false!
After reading it - the children decided to take part in a variety of different activities. Some children wrote diary accounts as Alan, some children designed WANTED posters for Alan's Teeth and some children decided to work in a team and act out the story!
Thanks again to all those who came along tonight.
Thank you to those children who attended Story Book Club tonight!
We had great fun reading The Day The Crayons Quit and basing our own pictures around those that Oliver Jeffers illustrated. We swapped our typically used colours for opposite colours to create 'creative' pictures.
Children in Years 2, 3 and 4 take part in a dance club every Wednesday after school. We have learnt lots of different dance styles throughout the year. We are currently learning a new style of dance - tap dancing! We have lots of fun and are learning lots about rhythm.
Children in Year 3 and 4 take part in Art Club on a Tuesday night. The children have been learning how to use line, tone and shade to represent things they can see from different viewpoints.
